Healing doesn't have to be expensive!

Updated: May 27, 2023

Everyone is talking about the currently rising prices of food and supplements, but healing doesn't have to be expensive at all. In this blog post you will find tips & tricks that you can easily implement for yourself and your family.

Nutrition:

Focus on inexpensive, but very nutritious foods that children and adults love: Potatoes, sweet potatoes, bananas, apples, pears, kiwis, cucumbers and carrots.

  • Organic or not? Of course, organic is always the best choice. But if it's not possible across the board, then conventional is the answer. Because with the Medical Medium diet, you have enough tools at your disposal to compensate for this. If possible, just try to cut out the 'dirty dozen'.

  • Grow your own fruit and vegetables in the garden or on the balcony. Growing your own with or without children is not only fun, but also it's a great activity, gets us out in the fresh air, and also teaches children to connect with our food. We know from Medical Medium that young plants connect with us when we take care of them and then grow specifically for our benefit. Moreover, children learn the connection to our food - it does not grow in plastic bags in the supermarket. If you have a balcony, you can also grow great pickled lettuce, tomatoes, snack cucumbers and snack peppers. In winter, sprouts and micro-greens thrive at the window or with special UV lights.

  • Grow your own herbs on the balcony or in the garden. Aromatic herbs are very potent and grow without much work.

  • Really use the whole vegetables, e.g. radish leaves. 'Waste' such as broccoli or kale trunks can be juiced or used to make a vegetable stock.

  • Organisations like Mundraub.org show where we can get food directly from the countryside for free. In addition, you can also ask the farmer directly or, for example, your neighbour.

  • Use spices: Garlic, ginger, turmeric, fresh herbs are great for seasoning and healing at the same time.

Food Supplements:

If necessary, focus on the Basic Supplements from Medical Medium: B12, zinc, vitamin C and lemon balm.

Children:

  • Focus on nutrition. Fewer supplements are usually needed.

  • Teas instead of tinctures: nettle tea, lemon balm tea, rose hip tea enriched with lemon or orange juice.

  • Food supplements work better with a little glucose, so just eat a piece of apple, banana etc. with it.

  • Elderflower syrup, which strengthens the immune system, is easy to make yourself. The recipe follows :)

Other:

Many 'healing' tools are here on this planet quite free: nature, the sun, proper breathing and our ability to nudge our thoughts in the one positive direction. And yes, there is also the issue of stress reduction ;)

Budget planning: a tool that probably seems rather annoying and excessive - but from my own experience can move mountains.
